2013 Sawmill Creek - Gewurztraminer
Sawmill Creek Vineyards is on the east side of Seneca Lake less than one half mile from Red Newt Cellars. Ideal growing conditions have allowed the Hazlitt family of wine growers to capture the exquisite spice and complexity that typifies Gewürztraminer in the Finger Lakes. Grapes are pushed to high maturity and sugar, and vinified to show alcoholic strength, fruit intensity and textural complexity.
